Bachelorette é o mais recente projecto da neo-zelandesa Annabel Alper. “My Electric Family” é o terceiro álbum e aquele em que tudo ganha mais forma de banda. Canções com uma fórmula pop sem grandes segredos, aliada àquilo que se seguiu na indietrónica, e com uma surpreendente e eficaz ligação a Blondie de “Parallel Lines”. Recorda os anos 80 sem filtros, da fábrica Chromatics e Nite Jewel sem a decadência da noite e um lado mais Stereolab. Aliás, lembra mais os Stereolab e os Broadcast (e fá-lo sem recordar nenhuma das suas influências), como se o testemunho desse legado tivesse sido atribuído sem aviso. “My Electric Family” chega assim, sem aviso. E tem canções encantadoras.
